Actually, if I ever had the spare cash for a 911 project (Lotto, maybe? :)), I would go electric. Something like this: http://www.electroauto.com/gallery/911.shtml

As much as I like the 911s, they don't seem popular for the electric conversions - more 914s there. I might come around in time.

Found an electric van too.

Yeah, I like that one. This is my favorite though: http://www.electroauto.com/gallery/singlecab.shtml

If the pickups weren't so hard to find I would have held out for a double cab instead of getting my bus.

Yay, new wheels...

2005 Honda Metropolitan. Friend of mine bought it new (still sitting around at the dealership - sure sign we live in B.F.E. considering how fast these are selling out elsewhere) a few weeks ago. One test drive and I was hooked. Saturday he was going to ride down to the dealership with me to see if they had anymore left, but at the last minute he decided he wanted to upgrade to an Italian scoot (Lambretta, same company that makes the Vespa) so he sold me his Honda. 60 miles on it when I got it, already just a hair under 90 - I'm lovin' it. Awesome way to get around. 100mpg. My work is a mile away, the grocery store and convenience store are a mile away, a few friends are within a couple miles. If I really want to cruise, I can be at my mom's or a few more friends' houses within 30 minutes (15 miles).

I gave a good cleaning up after work, but it was dusk by the time I snapped the pictures so this doesn't really do it justice.. Much shinier in real life. :D
